The operating system
Facilitation as an institutional process, not a series of introductions.
Every request entering IBFC becomes a case file with a stage, an owner, a next action and a permanent event record — for inbound capital into Pakistan and for Pakistani enterprises expanding abroad.
Seven stages
From objective to aftercare
Each stage has defined ownership on both sides: an IBFC action and a business action.
- 01
Request Submitted
A single structured intake captures objective, market, sector and scale.
- 02
Initial Assessment
A country desk officer validates feasibility, scale and readiness.
- 03
Opportunity Matching
The matching engine scores counterparties on sector, capacity, certification and intent.
- 04
Partner Identification
Shortlists are verified, introductions are made and interest is recorded on the case file.
- 05
Government Coordination
IBFC coordinates with regulators and institutions; friction points are logged systemically.
- 06
Transaction
Terms, documentation and closing support with an auditable event trail.
- 07
Aftercare
Post-transaction monitoring, expansion support and issue escalation.
Standard
What verification means
A business passport is progressively verified. Counterparties see exactly which elements have been checked by IBFC — nothing is implied.
- Corporate Registration
- Business Identity
- Principal Business Information
- Ownership
- Certifications
- Export History
- Financial Information
Mandate boundary
IBFC facilitates. It does not approve.
IBFC does not issue licences, grant regulatory approvals, or act as a party to any transaction. It verifies participants, structures the request, coordinates with the institutions that do hold authority, and records systemic friction so it can be addressed at policy level.
